A conversation with Steve Schmidt

Steve Schmidt and I have known one another for a very long time — dating back to when I was a political reporter for Roll Call newspaper and he was a Republican House staffer on Capitol Hill.

Steve has become one of the leading anti-Trump voices in the country over the last few years — via his “The Warning” Substack and his YouTube channel.

Recently I wrote a guest post for his Substack — outlining why I didn’t think Democrats were actually all that serious about their claims that democracy itself was on the line in November. (If you missed it, you can read it here.)

Steve and I were happy with that collaboration and decided to expand on it a bit.

So, tonight at 8 pm eastern he and I are going chat — live online for an hour. There’s going to be plenty of Joe Biden talk. And Trump. And whatever else is on Steve’s mind.
