The definition of insanity is electing Trump again.

For the billionth time, trump is a severely flawed individual who's lizard brain goes back to play his greatest hits, over and over and over again. For those of us in the NY area, WCBS 101 playing golden oldies all the time! That's all he's got. Greatest hits.

Except they were never great. They're old.

His fallback is stuff that makes him feel good. I laugh at the crypto-currency infatuation. If you asked him to provide even a 30 second summary of what crypto means, he would be lost. Nobody asks him the interesting questions.

When you elect a severely mentally flawed person ( I can't even call him a man) as your president, this is the crap we have to deal with.

Look at the Harvard crap. I truly think that is the story of the day. He realized that the majority of Americans think that Harvard elites are their enemy. He demonizes them, and his minions jump on the anti-Harvard train. Columbia won't be far behind. UCLA should watch out as well.

No brains trump can't connect the dots that foreign students pay full fare to study in the USA and contribute greatly to every aspect of society. You can hardly get any medical care today without interacting with a foreign born doctor. But that doesn't click with numbnuts.

One track mind. I know he is a force of (American) nature, but the man knows nothing of history and never reads. Its all so predictable.

The big and beautiful tariffs are back again. The main reason why most countries are not dealing with Trump right now is that they simply judge it is better to wait until the US tariffs fully hit the US. Than, TOGETHER it will be much easier to negociate with the artist of the deal.

Trump is the definition of insanity

He was very transparent with the American people about his strategy - pump and dump the entire US stock market to enrich himself and his supporters. The mistake everyone keeps making is believing that what he is doing is irrational or irresponsible. Viewed through the lens of a US president, this is true - it makes no sense for a public servant to be wrecking the retirement funds of the entire middle class. However, seen through the lens of a selfish, malignant narcissist, it makes complete sense.

He truly believes his word is God. He can do whatever he wants.

I have come to believe that the reason he invokes terrifs, and loves to issue Executive Orders, is that those actions are the closest to being king-like that he can come in the US government. They don't require any oversight (except after the fact when someone files suit), he just gets to do what he wants. Not a way to govern, but I don't believe he's ever had any intention to govern....just to be powerful, famous, and enriched.

And because EO's and tariffs do not require any actual work. He does not like to put any effort into actual work to get something done.

In fact, his word is pretty much is the word of God. The Surpreme Court ruled that only Congress can hold him accountable for breaking any laws. If Congress is unwilling to hold him accountable for anything, then he is fully above the law. This is literally what has happened in every fallen democracy - the president has a complicit Congress that refuses to hold him accountable for their crimes - this happened in Germany, Romania, Hungary, Russia, Iraq, etc, etc, etc.

Trump has the impulses of a toddler and the temperament of a teenager and the instincts of a Mafia mobster.

He also is living in a fantasy world of insane delusion while being a pathological liar.

What happened to the "I've made 200 (trade) deals" in the Time magazine interview one month ago.

When challenged by the interviewer about having "200 deals" (there are only 195 countries in the world, including the U.S.) he did not back down and said "100%"

This unstable wanna-be King is not fit to be president. He is ruining America.

Those voters who still believe that there is a good economic plan in Trump‘s tariffs are going to be shocked in the next few months. The number one reason to vote for Trump was a better economy, lower prices, and no problems with with healthcare. All three will come under duress and it’s far too late to blame it on Biden. I believe the poll numbers will continue to go down and they should.

Wait! What?

He told us that he had 200 deals in the waiting, at least that was what he said weeks ago.

What happened?

Could it be he was lying? 😉🤦‍♂️😂🤣💩

So true. But a few things here - 1) the man has no strategy. 2) Bullying is not a strategy. 3) the failure do get any type of trade deal is on HIM. No one else to blame but his administration. 4) Apple is not going to construct a plant tomorrow to build iPhones here in the US. It's a ridiculous stance to take and will just raise the cost of iPhones for everyone. 5)Total chaos again. Destroying the US economy and our credibility because he got up on the wrong side of the bed today. Or did his crypto bros give him some great wisdom at last night's dinner

Why ask, "or why doesn't he care?" No need to ask why. He simply doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself and his scratch the surface ego. If his lips are moving, he is lying. If he is conducting policy, he is grifting. simple as that.

Chris - one more thing - his again divide and conquer may eventually lead to an all out war. He has weakened this country - has said nothing about the incident with diplomats being motor shelled by Iseral while inspecting the Gaza Strip

Dawn Kucera's avatar

And another serious way that he is threatening the country. The military senior leadership is being hallowed out, and his entire senior leadership is grossly incompetent. Rest assured that our enemies are well aware.

I still feel there’s more going on while the toddler in the White House throws his toys around …

Why are we seeing the potential for a June 14 party ? Who stands to gain the most from the party chaos ?

To me it feels like we are at the edge of the lake , seeing the ripples where the wind is blowing -meanwhile behind us the sun is setting, and people are leaving the lake as a storm front is moving in

*sigh* not enough people are paying attention to the storm front ..
