Happy Friday!
I am heading to Lisbon, Portugal on Sunday night for the Thanksgiving week so posting will be light — and will have a decided travelogue feel for the next 7-10 days.
(If you have recommendations on what to see/what to eat while I am over there, I would welcome them! You can email me at cillizzac@gmail.com or just throw your thoughts in the comments section.)
I MAY write a piece or two about American domestic politics but mostly I will be focused on Portugal — and soccer.
Before all that happens though, we have the week that was in politics. Kidney punches in Congress! Third party presidential bids (maybe)! Lots of new New Hampshire polling!
Lots to get to. Before we do, a reminder: This Friday chat is always for paid subscribers only. And there’s no better time to become a paid subscriber than right now! I am running — for the first time since I started writing this newsletter 10 months ago — a 20% off special on both monthly and yearly subscriptions.
What that means: For the very low price of $4 a month (or $40 for the year) you can get access to ALL of my content (between 10-15 pieces a week) for less than the price of a fancy coffee at Starbucks! Subscribe here:
To the questions! (And, my soundtrack for this chat is the new Andre 3000 album “New Blue Sun.”)
Q: Is it just me or has Trump become more over the top the last few weeks? Everything I'm reading about his plans should be win the election are down right terrifying! How can people support a man like this? Will voters really let this happen?!?!
