One of the benefits of not being affiliated with a particular media company is that I can say “yes” to all sorts of cool interview requests that I used to have to turn down.
And this week something was in the water — maybe the election? — because I got lots of requests to talk politics with friends.
I wanted to share them with you.
On Thursday night, I did a webcast with my friends Jonathan V. Last and Will Saletan from The Bulwark. We talked about Joe Manchin’s retirement, the GOP’s 3rd debate and what, exactly, Kim Reynolds is thinking.
You can watch the conversation here:
I also did the “Beg to Differ” podcast hosted by The Bulwark’s Mona Charen. It was a — gasp — civil conversation about where we are in politics, and where we’re going. You can check that out here.
Earlier in the week, I talked the 2023 election (and the 2024 presidential race) with NBC’s Chuck Todd and the Cook Political Report’s Amy Walter. You can here that conversation here.
And, finally, here’s a radio hit for WCCO in Minnesota on what the 2023 results mean.
It would be great if you went to work for the Bulwark.
Did you see that the Trump hotel in Waikiki is dropping the Trump brand?
I wonder how much Hilton paid to do that…
