I spent the afternoon getting the crap kicked out of me by Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids, who, among many other impressive things, is a former professional MMA fighter. (She was also the first openly LGBT Native American elected to the United States Congress and the first openly LGBT person elected to the United States Congress from Kansas.)
It was AWESOME. And it was all for an upcoming episode of “Politics Aside with Chris Cillizza.” Don’t know about the show? Check it out here!
While I go figure out how to ice my entire body, you take control of the newsletter for a little while, ok?
If you’ve got questions, critiques or kudos about the last week in politics — or life — throw them in the comments section below.
