My debate plan for tonight

It's a work in progress.

Tonight, as you likely know, is the second Republican presidential debate.

Normally, I would be counting down the hours — with my typing hands at the ready.

But, today — really tonight — I am headed to Little Rock, Arkansas for the Six Bridges Book Festival.

I am being interviewed on my book — “Power Players: Sports, Politics and the American Presidency” — tomorrow.

(You didn’t know I wrote a book? Or you haven’t bought it yet? Do it now!)

So…. my flight lands about an hour before the debate is set to start. I think I will be able to make it to the hotel in time and all will be well. (That’s assuming no flight delays and the like.)

I am going to try to do a live chat thread for PAID subscribers only during the debate. (I did this during the first GOP debate and I thought it worked well.) So, if you aren’t a paid subscriber yet but want to get in on the fun, subscribe right this second!
