There has been a least some amount of time in the past two weeks that he actively avoided press, and I think that's how you lose in this administration. Defiance needs to be open. Not talking to press means the President doesn't see you being defiant, and the President not perceiving you to fight his battles can't be good for your survival odds in his administration.
Hegseth comes across as such a moron when he's defending himself. I mean, the guy went to Princeton and Harvard, so I assume he's not a total idiot, and he's just playing one on TV, for an idiot audience of one. And you believe that Princeton and Harvard educations mean anything? Almost all of this "administration" has at least one Ivy League degree attached to their resumes and NONE OF THEM are qualified for their positions! Makes me wonder what we're all working for...
