That’s roughly the number who say the same of former vice president Mike Pence. And well more than the 35% of Republicans who say that Utah Sen. Mitt Romney is a person of faith.
Here’s the funny part: Pence and Romney have repeatedly demonstrated over their years in public life that they are deeply religious — and have aimed to live those values in elected office.
Trump, um, has not.
