Insurrection' should bar Donald Trump from US presidency, lawyers argue | Donald Trump News | Al Jazeera

When I was still sleeping this morning — it was a looooong night — Donald Trump called in to “Fox and Friends” to chat.

Because of course he did.

I went through the transcript and pulled out the lines you need to see. They’re below.

To the Lines!

  1. “They call [Tim Walz] coach. He's a semi coach. He coached some football for a little while.”

Semi coach! And away we go!

  1. “And for him to say about Project 25 is disgraceful. They know I have nothing to do with it. I had no idea what it was, a group of people got together. They drew up some conservative values, very conservative values, and in some case, perhaps they went over the line, perhaps they didn't. I have no idea what Project 25 is”

I mean, it’s called “Project 2025.” Also: If Trump has no idea what it is, then how does he know “they drew up some conservative values” in it?

  1. “They did a coup on him, and he's sitting someplace in California on a beach, and because he's in California, it's crime-ridden, a crime-ridden place.”

So, Joe Biden is sitting on a beach in California (sounds nice!) but also it’s a crime-ridden place? Like the beach is crime-ridden?

  1. “San Francisco, you can't walk into San Francisco. You barely can go into California anymore.”

Sorry folks. California’s closed. The moose out front should have told you.

  1. “It's a shame between Gavin Newsom, but it was really more Kamala because she was your district attorney in San Francisco.”

This is so ridiculous. Trump is saying that California’s problems are more the result Harris, who was district attorney in San Francisco, than Newsom, who was the mayor of the city and is now the governor. Idiotic.
