To commemorate his first 100 days in office — the actual day is next Wednesday — President Donald Trump is doing a series of media interviews to tout what he has done and preview what he plans to do.
The first of those major sit-downs is out — with Time magazine. (Trump loves news magazines; his frame of reference is stuck in the 1980s/early 1990s when they really mattered.)
Time published the full transcript of their Trump interview. It is LONG —51 minutes — but I went through the whole thing line by line.

“I feel that we've had a very successful presidency in 100 days. We've had people writing it was the best first month and best second month, and really the best third month.”
Trump didn’t name these people. Likely because they do not exist. And away we go!
“No, I think that what I'm doing is exactly what I've campaigned on.”
I think this is a mild overstatement. But, broadly, it’s true. He said he was going to do a lot of the things he is doing. Lots of people just didn’t believe him.
“Many criminals—they emptied their prisons, many countries, almost every country, but not a complete emptying, but some countries a complete emptying of their prison system.”
“If you were walking down the street, and if you happen to be near one of these people, they could, they would kill you, and they wouldn't even think about it.”
Uh, what?
“The prices of groceries have gone down. The only price that hasn't gone down is the price of energy. The cost of energy, I'm sorry, well, energy has gone down, excuse me. Let me change that—is the interest rates.”
Grocery prices have not, in fact, gone down.
