In Pennsylvania on Wednesday night, Donald Trump spent an hour in the warm embrace of Fox News’ Sean Hannity — one of the biggest champions of the former president and his political movement.
To call this an interview would be to do a disservice to the word. It was more of a combo bitch session/brag session, with Hannity putting the balls on the tee and Trump smashing them over and over again.
I went through the entire transcript — line by line. The stuff you really need to see is below.
As always, this is a paywalled post — for two reasons: 1) Going through these transcripts take considerable time and effort and 2) I am the only person in political media doing this important work.

“Wow. Wow. Nice crowd. I would say, it's a big crowd.”
It’s always — ALWAYS — about crowd size. And away we go!
“Well, it's a sick and angry world for a lot of reasons. And we're going to make it better. And we're going to heal our world.”
Hannity asked Trump for his reaction to the school shooting in Georgia on Wednesday. This was his response. “Heal our world”!
“And we're going to make it better. You know, Viktor Orban made a statement. They said, bring Trump back and we won't have any problems”
Ok, so the answer to our epidemic of mass shootings — especially in schools — is that Viktor Orban said we need to bring Trump back?
“You know, we -- I ran and we did -- I didn't have anything at all. I just was a successful businessman. And we did a good campaign.”
Trump on 2016: “We did a good campaign.”
“They're allowing prisoners to come out of all countries that 100 -- almost 180 countries represented over the last number of months, 180. Most people don't know that you have that many countries.”
“But I am studying a lot of this stuff, so I know it...you know, like...ah you know...chinch bugs. You know.....manganese. A lot of people don't even know what that is.” — Carl Spackler
“If they won, you'd have not 20 million, you'll have a hundred million people. You won't have Social Security. You won't have Medicare. You won't have anything already.”
Ok, so if Kamala Harris wins we are going to have 100 million undocumented immigrants in the country? Also, no Social Security? Or Medicare? Or, uh, “anything”?
“There's never been a country that allowed 21 million people to come in over a three-year period.”
Including now! Because, according to Factcheck.org, 2.5 million undocumented immigrants have been released into the U.S. and another 2.8 million have been removed or expelled during Joe Biden’s presidency. These numbers are VERY high. But they are nowhere near what Trump is claiming here.
“And by the way, women traffickers. You know, women trafficking is the biggest, and they're traffickers and women.”
I know what he is saying here. I think. But man this is just a bunch of nouns strung together.
“They came from 22 people, recently came from the Congo in Africa. Where do you come from, prison? What did you do? We refused to say.”
Trump says this all the time. But I cannot find any evidence of 22 people illegally entering the U.S. from the Congo recently. It is true that African migration is way up this year.
“In Colorado, where Venezuelans are taking over the whole town. They're taking over buildings, the whole town, and the sheriff, who can blame them? I mean, they have AK-47s. You saw it the other day. They're knocking down doors and occupying apartments of people.”
The sheriff in Aurora, Colorado — the town Trump is talking about — has said that this is not, in fact, happening.
“There's something -- there's something weird with [Tim Walz]. He's a weird guy. J.D. is not weird. He's a solid rock.”
Uh…
