Donald Trump is doing a LOT of media lately — the vast majority of which is on outlets like Newsmax and Fox News where he gets softball questions and zero fact-checking.
The latest of these was Wednesday night when Trump sat down with Fox News sycophant anchor Sean Hannity.
This was an interview in name only. Which is why I decided to go through it line by line. Because SOMEONE needs to provide context, facts and, yes, a little humor.
I am committed to doing this work as long as my eyes — and typing fingers — hold out. It’s important — and there just aren’t many people going through exactly what our politicians are saying and making sure they are held to account.
I am doing that every day here! I hope you decide today is the day to invest in what I am building. Become a paid subscriber for just $6 a month or $60 for the whole election year!

“We call him Deranged Jack Smith, because you look at his career, he's been overturned by the Supreme Court unanimously, so many other things.”

Trump is talking about Joe Biden. But, well, this headline: “Trump ranked as worst US president in history.”
“But in the case that you're talking about, I said very strongly that I'm very proud to fight for our Constitution.”
“Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.” — Donald Trump, December 2022
“And when you look at the analysts, whether it's Gregg Jarrett, or Andy McCarthy, or Jonathan Turley, or your friend, the great one, Mark Levin, Dershowitz, all of them, they said…”
Trump cites this group regularly as some sort of independent validators of his innocence in the various indictments against him. But ALL of these people are either paid by Fox News or regular contributors on their airways. It’s not like these are neutral observers. Also, does anyone really call Mark Levin “the great one”?
“Judge Jeanine was so incredible two weeks ago. She was unbelievable. Angry. She was angry.”
Ah yes, that fair-minded arbiter of legal matters, Jeanine Pirro.
