Donald Trump traveled to Wisconsin Tuesday night, a trip designed to coincide with the state’s primary — which he won easily although not entirely convincingly.
He spoke at a campaign event in Green Bay. Thanks to C-SPAN, I was able to find a transcript of his remarks.
And because it matters what Trump says (he is the Republican nominee for president after all!), I went through the transcript of his speech. The lines you need to see are below.

“Has anyone noticed the weather outside? They said I don't think we are going to make it. I said, we have to. We cannot disappoint Green Bay. We did much better in 2020. A hell of a lot better.”
There was a snowstorm in Wisconsin yesterday. (Thundersnow!) Also, Trump won Wisconsin in 2016. And lost it in 2020. But he continues to push the lie that he somehow won it. And away we go!
“We have an empty podium right here to my right. That is for Joe Biden. I am calling on him to debate anytime, anyplace.”
“The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had. I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!” — Donald Trump, August 2023

Well, this certainly seems like the basis for a friendly debate…
“Let me add that this is primary night, so get out of here. I will finish this real quick so you can go out and vote.”
[narrator voice] He won’t.
“We have had tremendous support all over. We set records. How about South Carolina? We set records.”
He did! What was the record? The most people to ever vote in a Republican primary in the state.
