The 52 most outrageous lines from Donald Trump's Las Vegas speech
I watch so you don't have to.
Despite the fact that he is running uncontested in the February 8 Nevada caucuses, Donald Trump made a trip to the state over the weekend — and delivered a speech.
And what a speech it was!
In the spirit of trying to document — and fact-check — most of what candidate Trump says, I went through the transcript of his address and pulled out a bunch of lines you need to see.
This sort of post takes a bunch of time and effort. So I am putting it behind the paywall. If you are a paid subscriber, thank you. If you are not, I sincerely hope you consider becoming one. It’s just $5 a month (less than a grande caramel macchiato!) or $50 for the whole year.

Now, to the lines!
“This place is packed. There’s more people outside trying to get in. So if anybody wants to leave, please leave.”
“Please leave.” And away we go!
“No, we have close to 3,000 people outside trying to get in on top.”
One thing Trump has always been consistent about: His obsession with (crowd) size.
“As you know, two weeks ago in Iowa, we had a great time in Iowa, 40 degrees below zero.”
“The Republican Party wanted to nominate me and just say, ‘Skip the whole thing, and we’re just going to give you our nomination.’ I said, ‘Don’t do that. Don’t do that. I want to win it the fair way.’”
The whole ideas was originally proposed by a close Trump ally. So….
“So, in your state, you have both a primary and you have a caucus. Don’t worry about the primary. Just do the caucus thing.”
Trump allies in Nevada engineered the process so only the state’s caucus — where Nikki Haley isn’t even on the ballot — will award delegates.
