Some time during the middle of the Trump administration, I started to get very into ambient music.

Maybe the calm of it drew me in. Or its unhurried nature. Maybe I just didn’t want even more words in my life.

Regardless of the reason, I started with Brian Eno went to The American Dollar and then Explosions in the Sky. And just kept going.

What I realized along my journey is that there is A LOT of really great ambient music being made these days.

This week’s playlist leans heavily on ambient tunes I have been listening to of late. (Plus the new Eluvium album is out tomorrow!)
