Prince died 7 years ago this week. It’s hard to explain to people who don’t care about music how immense a talent he was and what a massive void his loss left.

But I always try by sending them this clip of his unreal guitar solo on “While my Guitar Gently Weeps” at the 2004-2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
