This is my favorite time of the year. No, not Christmas time — though I love that too. It’s the time when everyone comes out with their lists of the best music of the year!

Paste magazine released their 50 best albums of 2023 earlier this week. As did the three music critics at the New York Times.

The next few weeks will be absolutely FILLED with more lists just like these. (Pitchfork! NPR!) So much music to listen to! (And, yes, I will have my own list — in this space — soon!)
