Why I do this
An unexpected conversation.
On Wednesday, I talked to my friend Julie Mason (of Sirius XM). The plan was to talk about the big picture piece I wrote earlier this week on the 2024 race. We, uh, didn’t stick to the plan.
Instead Julie and I talked about my last year — the struggles and the successes. We talked about being laid off, why people telling you “This is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to you!” is SUPER annoying and why I started writing on Substack.
It was a very different conversation than I thought we would have. But, I think, a really good one. I hope you take the time to listen here.
