Chris, longtime fan here. Thank you for the continued commentary. As a Californian, I have mixed feelings about Gov. Gavin, but largely positive. Looks unlikely (?) that he would throw in for the presidency in 24, but how about 28?
After CNN fired Chris and Brian Stelter and replaced their morning show I've found myself watching it less and less. Still like a few of the on-air people there but I'm afraid to name names lest they become targets as well.
Competition among companies is generally considered good for the economy as it can lead to innovation, lower prices, and better quality products. However, competition for workers can be bad for the economy over time as it can lead to higher wages and benefits, which can lead to inflation and higher prices for consumers.
Higher wages for worker are always bad?
More profits for corporation are good?
So workers are not as important as corporate profits?
A sincere question, somewhat related to 2024, that I would very much like to see answered. Full admission - I may be seeing the forest for the trees, but I do not understand the people that support Donald Trump, or why they support him. I can give you a long list of why I believe he is abhorrent, but I also can't believe that almost half of the country are racist, white supremacist, homophobic, insurrectionists. I work directly with some of these people. They're great neighbors, love puppies, and would help old ladies cross the street, but when it comes to anything Trump, all rational thought processes get turned off and a zombie mentality kicks in. I don't get it and I would appreciate someone filling me in. Thanks.
Do you think the GOP is heading towards nominating bad candidates again in 2024 for the Senate? Rumors are out there that Lake wants to run in Arizona, Mastriano is looking at a run in PA, both house members from Montana have been rumored and both have some past issues. It feels like Steve Daines is trying to head this off a lot better than Rick Scott, but it feels like another round of bad candidates could hurt the GOP again in winnable year.
First question - In order to attempt gain points over Trump, do you think DeSantis will embrace an isolationist foreign policy and be hostile to US involvement in other countries and in international processes?
Second question - does it surprise you that Republicans have managed to avoid a real confrontation in the House so far between McCarthy and the Freedom Caucus?
Who do you think will be the contenders for the Republican and Democratic presidential nominations in 2028? It seems far away but once 2024 takes place, 2028 starts.
Talk about how the Democrat and Republican lawmakers are pushing their ideas about SBV. Because how they push their ideas will influence the 2024 election.
So, Chris, according to my calcs, you would rake in around $250,000/yr from subscriptions, just in your first 2 months. I really like your commentary but find myself getting poor from all the bloggers I would like to follow. With all that filthy lucre rolling in, have you considered a little discount for all your loyal readers? :-)
Will former (normal) GOP contolled states...like Indiana, with the true "cross the aisle" Senator Todd Young, return to the ReTrumplican't-controlled states?
On vaca!

I think Newsom should go all in for 2024. Let's face it, Biden is just not energetic enough to run and have another 4 years.
I don’t think I’m alone in suffering from Trump-Biden fatigue. In a country of 330 million people, how is it that this seems to be the best we can do?
La Cheeserie!
I would like to see you comment on Kansas legislation against abortion rights, even after people in Kansas voted overwhelmingly to keep it legal.
Will a Democratic Presidential candidate win any of the following states again in the next 20-30 years?
Texas
Missouri
Ohio
Tennessee
Alabama
Louisiana
How much money did CNN+ lose?

Those were my two favorites also!!!
Are you sick? You haven’t written in 3 days!!!!
FromChat GPT. And also the Feds current policy.

If you could predict the future, who will be the 2024 Democratic and Republican candidates who face each other in the general election for President ?
