It's irrelevant what questions are thrown at Trump.
He will simply make shit up, lie and lie and lie and lie and lie and lie.
The "mainstream media" has fucked up how to treat Trump from day one. They actually treat him like a normal politician and give him undeserved respect as a president.
Those are great questions Chris....if only Trump would answer them. If Welker asked him any of those questions, I imagine his response would be, "Kristin, you are an evil, nasty woman. And that is why you and your network are the fake news!"
Reasonable questions for the most part. It’s unfortunate that NBC are not likely to ask them. The elephant in the room is just how challenging Welker will be. and when she is not we should ask why the mainstream media continues to fail. Or if their role is to now fluff wannabe dictators on day one.
He WILL answer them - with made up BS. Like the first commenter said, he will just make stuff up and lie away. Very very unfortunate. BTW, excellent questions; would love to get truthful answers to them. I also would love to be 20 yrs younger. That probability is higher than the probability of him answering any question truthfully.
Chris - good questions but whatever he is asked you know he won’t give a straight answer. Never has and never will. Unless it’s denigrating someone or something. He’ll talk to his MAGA base and we’ll be all spinning our heads asking “what did he just say”. Makes my head hurt just thinking about it. Will not watch but wait for your recap shortly after
Sir, why did you persist in purposefully mispronouncing Kamala Harris' name?
Also, I can totally picture that if Trump is asked any remotely challenging question at a news conference that he will point at the reporter and say, "You're fake news. Sit down." I'd love to hear his answers to all these questions but he either won't be honest (duh) or he won't answer the question at all. I'm not holding my breath.
On point 2, I was really disappointed to see Schumer voted in as Senate minority leader. He should have followed in Palosi's footsteps and allowed the next generation to step up.
She's worse at pushing back at pols than Chuck Todd was. Stopped watching MTP under Todd, then gave her a shot. That didn't last long. I'll skip this "interview".
Trying to stay zen during the holiday season. We'll see enough of him come January.
Good questions, Chris. I'll stay tuned for your cliff notes.
questions "During your last administration, your national security advisor kicked out the cyber experts, as a result some of the most agregious cyber attacks against the US were executed. Will you have cyber experts on the NSC?"
"Why did you cyber strategy during your first administration not include securing US critical infrastructure? Will securing US critical infrastructure be a part of your administrations strategy during your term?"
the ratio is much closer to every 2000 Chinese hackers. The Chinese government asks their citizens to hack in their spare time. This supplements the PLA efforts. The Chinese are a few years behind the Russians and Iranians when it comes to cyber capabilities and skills.
Q: It was a fellow Republican who saw the need for independent public oversight of US Capital Markets via the Federal Reserve instead of what before was a group of secretive, unknown and very wealthy New York bankers. Should voters be concerned that the US will return to the world of secrets and uncertainty in their banking system based on your pledge to remove Jerome Powell from leadership of the independent oversight body of the Federal Reserve? In your opinion, what would that removal do? Would it be fair to say that you agree with Senator Elizabeth Warren, given how vigorously she has questioned Mr Powell’s aversion to supporting the little guy in the financial system over the big banks? Would you seek to eliminate the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a financial regulator which some argue serves as the voice of the little consumer over large banks with teams of attorneys?
Ooops. Got distracted and didn’t think I posted this. I was going to say that I have zero interest in watching this potential train wreck. Can’t listen to him, can’t look at him and have no desire to hear his lies.

Yes…Trump is a lyin’ and unrepentant liar, and would lie in answering any of Chris’ very legitimate questions.
Exactly. What a waste of NBC’s time. Same old same old from The Donald
Yup, and they give him the platform to do so without fail: Trump plays them for suckers, every single time.
Those are great questions Chris....if only Trump would answer them. If Welker asked him any of those questions, I imagine his response would be, "Kristin, you are an evil, nasty woman. And that is why you and your network are the fake news!"

Did you rape (x number) of women? Why?
Is your Wife a legal immigrant?
Why did you pay Stormy off?
WHY did you try to overthrow the 2020 election?
Yeah, see the thing is I tried to ask questions that he might actually answer...

"Is your Wife a legal immigrant?" <-Really Chris
😆

Oh, yes, I see now that we're talking about an interview for Meet the Press. In my mind I was fast-forwarding to some future press conference.
Great questions, truly! Unfortunately, they will never get asked. And if asked, not answered.
See how much fun Trump II gonna be!
KH would be SO boring
On point 2, I was really disappointed to see Schumer voted in as Senate minority leader. He should have followed in Palosi's footsteps and allowed the next generation to step up.
Great questions. Will Kristin Walker ask any of these! Nope.

The cyber questions are fantastic. Why are there 3 FBI and CISA agents for every 20 Chinese hackers??

Your questions assume that Trump was serious about the things he said. Trump lies about everything.
I'm curious about who his justice department is going to go after. Also wondering if Biden
can / should preemptively pardon some of his targets. I think there is a long list of people he has mentioned investigating.
Q.- Knowing what you now know, can you honestly say that Pete Hegseth is the best, most qualified person available to be head of the DOD?
Good questions, Chris. However, for me, I have zero

ditto.
Same here, and I’m feeling a lot more peaceful. 🌷
