Chris, you keep saying that we need to call out Trump’s bat shit crazy comments. However, unfortunately the bulk of the press has treated him and his verbal diarrhea as “well, that’s just Trump”. Doing so has normalized his behavior. This just wrong it’s down right dangerous. I’m no Dick Cheney but he’s absolutely right Trump is a danger to the Republic and should be no where near the Oval Office.

Doug Burgum waving it away on Meet the Press yesterday was shameful.

As is George W. Bush refusing to say anything.

Really excited to hear about your new show and how it involve the Caps.

George H.W. Bush denounced David Duke when he ran for Louisiana governor. He even denounced the NRA when he didn't like their rhetoric about federal agents.

Bush Jr. is proving, once again, to be a pale shadow of his old man.

You are doing your part Chris, but every news outlet needs to blast it every day that Trump is a crook, a rapist, a convicted felon. Front page of every newspaper every day. Leading every broadcast. Enough of the both sides journalism crap.

I don't think it matters much if Bush endorsed Harris. There is no magic fix. It's up to us to vote and do everything we can to get everyone we know to vote. Especially women!

Have you seen the list of current and former living GOP candidates for pres/vp who have endorsed Trump? It's a short one.

1. Sarah Palin

I agree Bush isn't a magic fix but it will make headlines and perhaps some GOP-ers will want to know why. Liz Cheney has already made her feelings on Trump pretty clear so I can't say her endorsement was a major shock.

Bush is proving he doesn't care about democracy but he never really did.

Donald J Trump is not normal. MAGAs are not normal. The sanewashing of Trump’s blather is reaching epic levels. Please check your registration, vote as soon as you can, and encourage every normal person that you know to do the same.

Here we go again! This will be the THIRD election Trump will claim is rigged. In 2016 the rigging apparently wasn't a big problem for Trump though, go figure.

He is nothing more than a cry baby, he has already set the stage to do just that and claim that it was rigged, nothing new.

Can't wait for November, and for all these to be over.

Can’t wait to celebrate Kamala's LANDSLIDE victory wearing this "Kamala removes orange stains" tee on November 5 👇 🤣

Hopefully start to heal as a nation as Trump and his cult further fades into oblivion.

Heather, I wish, but I don’t think “fading into oblivion” is going to happen anytime soon. H Trump is already laying the ground work to fight the results in any state he loses, and some states and setting up to help him (check Georgia). Beyond that, most of his followers want what he has pushed for - taking us back 50-60 years, and I don’t think they are going to crawl back under their rocks.

Kamala landslide - from your fingertips to God’s ears.

Between losing the election and his Nov. 26 sentencing he'll declare his candidacy for 2028 so he can still whine about "election interference."

Without a doubt.😖

I thought the same thing.

He also said the 2016 Iowa caucus was rigged when he lost.

You have said you dont think he is a fascist. Here's the definition of fascism.

"A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism."

His actions and plans seem to fit the criteria. He needs to be opposed at every turn. I truly believe that if he is elected again the country will have reached a tipping point on the road toward a non-democratic government.

Once again, I see comments blaming the press for not doing enough to stop Trump. I see similar things all the time on social media. That view is misguided. All the damning facts regarding Trump have been widely reported. Major newspapers have condemned him. We all saw 1/6. We've all heard him rant incoherently. As I've said before, his voters who don't know don't care to know; the others know and don't care.

There are bitter and angry people out there who feel like America is getting away from them (the white/conservative people are afraid of darker and more liberal people) and sadly they are susceptible to wrong answers to their problems (deport millions! put liberals in jail!). Scary times.

And yet there are these people who you and I might find unfathomable because they are "undecided," having tuned out the news for the last several years. THEY need such reporting.

Sure, and it’s available every day, and it has been for years

And for people who haven't been paying close attention -- or ANY attention -- that's irrelevant. It's what they see NOW that matters.

That’s fine. And the reporting continues. My simple point is some don’t care to know, and some know and don’t care. People love to blame the press. They can always do better. But the sad fact is a hefty % of our fellow citizens want that know-nothing criminal in the White House.

I know that the main network evening news is just watched by old fogeys like myself but Lester Holt (who is a registered Republican by the way) on the NBC Nightly News did a long segment on this tonight. Very glad to see it.

MAGA Crowd and their sympathizers would be disappointed because they will not get an Authoritarian President in Kamala Harris. This is America . There's no appetite for an Authoritarian President here. This is not Russia or Hungary

When Trump sends the state police, the DOJ, the FBI for us for donating to the Trump campaign, be ready. Trump may very well instigate the insurrection act from the Inauguration Day lectern. It will kick off a bloody civil war if he does. As a Democrat I know he wants to kill me. I’m not going to let that happen. I think 80 million Americans will join me in a national act of self defense. Are we ready?

Iʻm very concerned that he will get his minions to download kiddie porn or something equally awful on the computers of people he wants to destroy. Itʻs such an easy way to cause someone to become a pariah. Kicking down doors costs a lot more money.

Interesting point. 80 million Americans are likely going to vote Democratic. So would he go after them all? If so, this would be like a Stalin like purge. 1000 people a week for decades either went to the gulags or were dispatched. But again, people are more than willing to fight here. And the states are likely to protect their own citizens from the Federal government. Unlike the Soviets who were part of the Soviet federal government. I’m not sure Federal Government internet infrastructure would survive for long if Trump begins to purge. It’s not very robust believe it or not and relies on interstate cooperation to keep it up.

Trumps war on Americans basically becomes a war with the states very quickly. So that’s likely the point where his terror ends.

Chris, your point is very clear. The MAGA cult loves T for exactly what he is. A misogynistic racist. A vengeful narcissist out to even the score. It is how they think. So the post is classic Trump. It is to remind his cult what they will be voting for. If only those outside the cult can be swayed to vote for Kamala. So much is at stake.

Calm down. Today it is literally neck and neck, as disturbing as that seems. There are many people who don't like Trump but need to be convinced about Harris. Oddly it's similar to the people who were fed up with the failed Carter administration but needed to be conviced about Reagan. Tomorrow night is going to be very important and, possibly, decisive.
