It just boggles my mind that millions of MAGAts hang on this clown's every word when most people who graduated from junior high can see for themselves what a con man he is.

Johnathan Madison posts here alot and wrote an excellent article regarding populism and why people gravitate towards them. It's basically a cult of personality. Has nothing to do with ideology.

I am surprised he he(Trump) is not yet claiming that the last night's elections were rigged because the Democrats won handily.

Trump is a loser through and through. He lost in 2018,, lost in 2020 , and lost in 2023 and he will lose again in 2024. You watch.

Give him time, Doc!

I'm surprised his bleats weren't all drafted and ready to send on "Truth" Social.

What? Trump is not accountable for anything bad? He is always a victim? Everything is broken and only he can fix it?

As much as we know these things about Trump, reading your post is still like being hit in the head by a 2” X 4” board...and yet, so many others continue to believe, and must be immune to head bashing...

Chris, on a serious note, congrats on being quoted yesterday by Philip Bump in the Washington Post - hope it brings some more eyeballs to this community!

He’s such a loser AND causes others to lose. That’s how we won two Senate races in Georgia, along with many other races.

being Trump means never having to say you're sorry

Being Trump means never having to *feel* sorry.

An inane line from a mediocre movie of the 1970s. When just the opposite is true.

Nothing wrong with Ali Mcgraw and Barbra Streisand...thank you very much. NEEEXT!

You must have seen a Bolliwood reboot.

Ali McGraw co-starred with Ryan O'Neil...Babs had no connection in the 1970 film.

Barbra Streisand (with Ryan O'Neil) in the movie, What's up, Doc? says (maybe the final line) "love means never having to say you're sorry", while blinking rapidly, in the mode of making eyes at O'Neil... Hence my earlier reaction.

I remember that line from Babs, even to this day Nov 2023... Superb film. And I can't remember name of the Prof in the movie, what's up doc, who was at the dining table, or they all were under the dining table that guy, the Prof was Earl Williams, in another hilarious (remake of the 40s) film, The Front Page - Susan Sarandon, Lemmon, Matthau, Carole Burnett - oh lots of wonderful OTHERS. (movies aren't fun or funny anymore)

Better go back to review your movie and the blinking....maybe it was stolen as a goof on "Love Story" since O'Neil is in both.

The line "Love means never having to say you're sorry." was pulled directly from Erich Segal's book "Love Story" for the movie.

Oh duh....that's the whole fffffking point.

It is in BOTH movies.

Okay, next. Oh never mind. I'm outta here.

I continue to be stunned at how many people eat up all the lies. He’s always a victim, he is always treated unfairly, he is alway being attacked viciously, he is always right, he knows everything, he is the best at everything. OMG, these people that believe he walks on water. He’s a loser in elections (lost popular vote), business, decorum, etc., etc.. He is abhorrent.

Actually, he has NEVER won a popular vote, not even the 2016 primary-merely a plurality.

Chris,

Your straight forward analysis of the Secessionist-in-Chief's psychological pathology is truly terrifying.

The fact that such a large swarth of America is captivated by his delusions is understandable because they are spoon-fed a continuing media-diet of pure-lies, propagandist analysis, and obfuscation.

Considering that the destruction of the American Experience is on the line, I am fearful that not enough will be done by those in the know who could testify to the reality they lived with the Monster.

While the Lincoln Project will pull out all stops, I have no faith that former Trump cabinet members will actively try to educate voters.

They'll simply wring their hands while remarking how terrible it is that a convicted rapist, pathologically unethical businessman, and truly unAmerican sociopath is re-elected president.

And this is who millions of Americans apparently want to return to the White House (spoiler alert: If he gets reelected, he's NEVER leaving).

In 2020, I was so relieved when Biden won. Then the election denial began. Come J6, a day that I've never given two thoughts about prior, it was suddenly an exciting day because the certification of results would be complete and the election would finally be over! Obviously this isn't what happened.

Knowing what we know how about how Trump, MAGA, and the Republican party handle election loss, no matter what happens (short of nature taking care of Trump for us - and even then...), it's not going to be pretty. Hopefully, though, the ugly that results begins to put the final nails in the coffin of the Republican party as, at least nationally, a viable party.

According to Dumpy, the Emmys were rigged because his show didn't win one. The Iowa caucuses in 2016 were rigged because Ted Cruz won. Dumpy would lose it in the Oval Office if anybody mentioned Russia, no matter the context, because its interference cast a shadow on his win in 2016. And then, of course, there was 2020. Pin the Tail On the Donkey at his fifth birthday party was probably rigged because Little Dumpy pinned the tail on the donkey's nose.

Chris--TDF is always AMAZING. PERFECT. EXTRAORDINARY. It is sad (sad!) when candidates, aides, and associates fail to take advantage of everything he gives them. If only everyone could take advantage of DTF’s gifts. ;)
