Land does vote - in the US Senate. And Dems really ought to be evaluating how they can attract some votes in rural areas, rather than writing them off as hopelessly lost. Not everyone in rural America is a racist facist.
I should think the farmers who got shafted by Trump's ill-conceived and executed tariffs and embargos wouldn't be thinking quite as highly of him as before.....or do they also have the memory retention of gnats, as do most of the rest of the brainwashed cultists.
I also got a chuckle out of “land doesn’t vote.” However, can’t help but wonder how many folks actually understand what they are looking at. When you think of his followers, it gives one pause.
Chris, while I agree that Trump is misusing the map, I would offer that it could have value if properly utilized. Maybe we should try to understand the concerns of those in the rural counties instead of simply dismissing them as misguided and irrelevant because the nation is an urban majority. Perhaps their way of life presents different problems requiring different solutions. And that doesn’t necessarily mean the urban elites showing them the error of their ways. Unless we’re satisfied with a perpetually divided America because, hey, majority rules.
You make an excellent point. Yes, Trump and his cohort abuse the facts, but that doesn't mean the facts are irrelevant. Ds need to find ways to speak to those ex-urban and rural areas. Trump has sold those folks a bill of goods. Nothing he actually did in office benefited those people.
Let’s turn red blue everywhere. County by county. Think of the red as the blood the GOP is bleeding by backing a politician who wishes for an economic crash and calls on them to not support immigration policy and aid to Ukraine. Remind folks that the color of the Russians is also red.
In the red is also what trump is now that he owes 83+ million for defaming a woman he raped.
A question: Is Trump more stupid for perpetuating this utter nonsense? Or are the Trumpsters more stupid for believing Trump's utter nonsense? Just asking....
My favorite line, and what I think is the most important: land doesn't vote.
Yeah, I loved land doesn’t vote. Hoping to get a chance to use it. Trump should try to get people to vote for him, not clods.
Of dirt I mean. Although, 🤔
Yeah, he has the clod vote wrapped up - the 2-legged variety.
Trump distorting the truth for his own benefit.
Surely you must be joking. (I'm not joking, and don't call me Shirley.)
News flash: Republicans spew bullshit! In other breaking news, water is still wet and sun continues to rise in the east.
(/snark)

This journalistic piece should be in every mail box etc. in the country!!!!!
Well…golly. Donald J Trump using a map that doesn’t exactly make his point. Next, he’ll take a sharpie to it……
yeah, and make it ALL red. He clearly has a thing about size...
Two words: population density.
Well, as you noted, from a technical standpoint, he’s right. Rural America is his. Urban America is not.

Spot on - thanks
BTW, could dead people voting (those 6’ under) possibly count as land voting?
Please remind us of the percentage of voters with triple digit IQ’s. That helps to keep me positive about our country and future.

Here’s a better set of maps, next to each other for clarity. Yeah, “land doesn’t vote” is precisely right, Chris!

If only he could've found his sharpies
