Thanks for sharing that. I've hesitated setting up the Zoom call as I want to respect your time. I think of you as a fellow small business person and I recognize all of the non-revenue producing things one has to do to run a business. I think you've done a great job of personalizing things so that we see a real person writing things vs just some AI bot.
And, always good to see someone from here in CT become a star. Keep up the great work.
I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the folks in this community that keep me engaged with humor, humility, and/or perspectives I can't get anywhere else. The community commentary here is just as important to me as Chris' balanced punditry. In no particular order.... Delbert, Parker Elmore, NanceeM, Randy Robinson, GreatDarkSpot, Doug Zade, JimB, James P., Phil Rinehart, Sam, Wayne Corey, Sean Sullivan, Hal Heinze, Jeff Hall, Brian. I'm sure I'm forgetting others. THANK YOU for your contributions!
You're amazing for even doing this. As someone who's worked in Internet marketing for nearly all of my career, most people would shy away from this sort of engagement. But, as you've learned, there is so much value in what you're doing -- for you AND for your audience. I'm happy to be a part of this growing community. :-)
Actual dialog, showing respect, and being open to considering other perspectives isnāt something I associate with cultish behavior, and I think itās hard to deny that the MAGA crowd is a cult of personality.
If Dear Leader didnāt say it, itās āfake newsā.
I have not taken advantage of this offer because I wasn't sure what we'd talk about outside of the excellent commentary you offer daily. I love the Chuck Todd sessions though I click out when you get to sports....not my thing. I'd like to do one now...how do I schedule it?
What a smart move on several fronts. My Ukrainian outreach yielded a close family, good friends and a spouse. Even with my limited knowledge of todayās technology, itās been a lot of growth plus a highly rewarding experience. More writers should try it.
I hope to talk to you sometime but, life. I think the fact you are willing to listen to everyone goes back to your reporter roots and makes your thoughts balanced. I donāt know how you do it all, but keep it up.

Love your work, Chris, and I applaud your courage, yes, courage, to do the Zoom calls. You are an amazing person and well worth following.
This makes me happy to see.
Maybe someday I'll sign up for my zoom time. š Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I loved this article.
I have wondered about these calls. Thank you for the summary and for the encouragement that there are lots of good people out there.....
>Now, have there been people I have spent 30 minutes with who were, uh, somewhat socially awkward?
It's me, hi, I'm the awkward one, it's me.
I'm dying to know who the pro wrestler was.
I bet you're less "awkward" than you think you are. ;-)
I wish the hate filled folks who support Trump could learn what you did. We are all just regular folks who are living our lives.

So happy to read this. Now I need to schedule my 15 mins of fame š

Eating is important Chris! :-)

This makes me so happy!
Hopefully conversations can move away from the horserace and to whats in common and whats at stake.
Thank you for sharing the summary. Love your work.
