Every Friday, I an answer as many questions as I can about the week that was in politics.
Anyone in the “So What?” community can ask a question — and I would encourage you to do so in the comments section below.
But, to read my answers — and the full chat transcript — on Friday, you need to be a PAID subscriber.
If you are on the fence about moving from a free to a paid subscription, let me urge you to do it! A small contribution by you helps me to continue to provide the sort of journalism you enjoy! It’s only $5 a month (or $50 for the full year!).
One added bonus: I am currently researching ways to do a weekly video chat with paid subscribers via Zoom — where we can talk about politics, the universe and everything.
It’s easy to subscribe! Just click here:
It was just announced that Trump will be attending the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game on Saturday along with his former acting AG, Matt Whitaker, a former Hawkeye player. I will be there in the press box and am not enthused about this. Do you think he will be recognized with an official announcement at the game, and should he? I mean, I get it that he's a former president. But he's also facing 91 criminal indictments. Personally, I think they should read off every one of the charges against him....just to be fair.
The polls: who are they actually reaching? Are all/most done by calling home phones and let’s face it, nobody under 75 answers a home phone anymore. Are any polls done differently?
