I keep thinking about the post you wrote where you compared Trump’s candidacy to the heel in a wrestling match. Every week, it seems to be even more on point. I tried to explain this to my wife (a non-wrestling aficionado) who was incredibly confused. How would you best explain this analogy to someone who does not understand professional wrestling?

One of the common survey questions is, "Do you think the country is the right track or the wrong track?" The high "wrong track" numbers is supposed to be proof that Biden is in trouble. However if I was asked the question I couldn't make the choice. Do I think Biden has accomplished a lot to get this country back on track? Yes, absolutely. Do I think the rightwing extremists on the Supreme Court and the clown car that is the House are doing terrible damage to the country? Yes, I do. So asked if the country is on the right track or the wrong track, my answer would have to be, "Yes."

Am I overthinking this or do you see my point here?

Great question! I have been wondering about it for quite some time. Perhaps there is a consistent positive correlation with bad electoral outcomes for the incumbent over time? Thanks for asking it!

What are the odds Biden can’t physically run in 2024? Every time I see him on tv I have my doubts. Compare that to the odds that Trump is a convicted felon by Nov of 2024

So why are we all still calling these people conservative? They are more radical than anything I have seen in awhile for elected "respectable" "representatives".

Which red states could Democrats compete in 10 years or so? They need to compete everywhere to have sustainable majorities.

Where does the GOP go if DT gets nominated and loses in 2024? Who runs in 2028? I've seen articles about conservative groups spending to block him from the nomination. I hope they succeed.

I've got a question..

We keep getting blasted with tales from all sorts of "whistle blowers". However we very rarely hear of any real evidence from these sources. What is the percentage of actual facts coming from whistleblowers? How many just disappear?

I was talking with my sister in law over the holiday and she is a very liberal person. But right now she is really upset with Biden and how little he has accomplished. (Which I disagreed with). How much of Biden’s low approval numbers comes from liberals who are disappointed with Biden. Do you think his approval numbers will go up as we get closer to the election? Because if the choice is Biden or any Republican, she will vote for Biden.

I listened to the Chris Long podcast with you and found it interesting and entertaining. I am an Eagles fan and loved him on the Eagles. In addition, he is intelligent, expresses himself well, and does a lot for charity. I was particularly interested in the discussion you had about teams coming to white house or declining invitations. We had controversy this year when the first lady wanted runner up Iowa invited . Do you think it is time to stop inviting sports champions to the White House?

What's your take on the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking poll? Biden does better on this simple Approve/Disapprove among Likely Voters than any other poll. Over the last six months his low numbers are about 41-42, and he hit a high of 52-54. Usually he is about 44-47. Not great, but not bad. Some Dems are always going to answer "disapprove."

Is it totally naive to think a Republican candidate for president could focus on real, important issues (rather than petty personal grievances) and electability in the general election? Maybe that could be a way to sway Republican voters from the primary fiasco to which they seem headed.

Can President Biden offer voters SOMETHING for voters to support him other than “I’m not “him””? If not, he loses in 2024.

I think one President being allowed to choose 3 Supreme Court justices is wrong. Because it will almost for sure guarantee what is now happening in the Supreme Court at this time. Do you think this idea will be promoted? Or is there another side to this argument?
