Chris, I think you are one of the top 5 political commentators out there. Always one of my favorites. Do you feel there is any concerted effort to keep you off the airwaves? I read and see tons of folks who aren't as entertaining and informative as you. What's the deal with you not getting more attention in this insane political environment?

What do you think about the "merger" of the PGA and the Saudi-backed LIV tour?

From the 14th Amendment:

Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

If Trump is convicted for Jan 6th, or maybe the attempt in Georgia to overturn the election results, would the 14th Amendment apply to prevent him from being elected (or sworn in as) President? In such a case, what person or entity would enforce Section 3? DOJ? Federal courts? Just curious how such a scenario would play out. Thanks!

Hi Chris,

What does your average House Representative think of the freedom caucus? It would drive me crazy to sit in the chamber watching their time wasting stunts.

Hi again Chris.

Since you’ve been slightly obsessed with Joe Biden stumbling over a SANDBAG which was on the stage and in his path, I’m wondering 1) why a sandbag was on the stage to begin with and 2) why the Secret Service who are in charge of the President’s safety, didn’t either remove the sandbag or point it out to The President as he started offstage.

This isn’t really a sign of old age is it ? It

Is a sign of inattentive Secret Service and of anyone else who was on that side of the stage. If it had been a 28 year old, someone would have pointed it out or removed it.

Just wondering. You have been pretty harsh on the President for stumbling over a SANDBAG!

Hello Chris, as one of favorite writers(!), what do you suppose will happen if there are two MAGA candidates in the Iowa caucus, when the MAGA strategy is to claim election fraud? Will this all but guarantee voter fraud coming from the second-place MAGA candidate? Please recall that Ted Cruz stole the Iowa caucus in 2016. (Arizona voter here who still is forced to listen to Kari Lake's claims)

I am what we call a "dirt road Democrat" in my state (Missouri) that has been ruled by a supermajority of Republicans. I feel like there is no hope for the issues I care about, and have seen eroded in my life time. It is so discouraging that the hypocrisy is ignored and many are voting against their own self interests just to "stick it to the libs!" They don't want help from the government, and it really is a libertarian point of view, in the name of the GOP. Do you have words of encouragement? Will we ever get rid of the electoral college?

Hi Chris, question for you. How do you talk to friends and family that have different politics views than yourself (or at least that you report on). For example, from a former R now D, it objectively looks like former President Trump is in legal trouble. Not because of a witch hunt or a swampy plan to keep him out of the WH, but because it seems like he broke the law (acknowledging that these things are tried in actually courts of law). Whoever this topic comes up, it is a flurry of, “what about Biden’s docs, Hunter’s laptop, Hillary’s server, etc.” It is to the point where two normal-ish people can’t chat about these issues. This must happen to you so how do you deal with it?

Hi Chris, I need you to explain to me a way that our government can function for the next year if the hard-right Republicans and GOP leaders cannot govern. 11 people causing a stand-off with, what seems to me, their goal is to shut down the government. I may not be asking this correctly, but I just want to look at them and say, "What is wrong with you? Why is destruction your goal?" What are Mitch McConnel's thoughts on what is going on in the House, who are part of his party? Can the Democrats benefit from this, being their own unorganized selves?

I've been asking this question to myself and a few others each time we have a new jobs report that is better than expected, and I'd like your take on it. The jobs report last week indicated the US economy added 339,000 new jobs (or new hires) in May based on payroll reports to the Labor department. Has anyone ever gone through that data to determine how many jobs in a given month are second or third jobs for some Americans? As inflation is still an issue, and the fed keeps raising borrowing rates, does it stand to reason that some Americans are starting second or third part-time positions in order to keep their bills paid?

Hi Chris. Could you please assess the impacts on the 2024 GOP POTUS primaries of the three new candidates who announced this week: Mike Pence, Chris Christie and ND Gov North Dakota Goveror Doug Burgum. Would/could Burgum self fund his race to stay in through NH?
