Hi Chris - awesome!! However, I am currently traveling in Africa, 6 hours ahead of Eastern time. Will a recording of the chat be available after? If not, I'll set an alarm for 4:30 a.m., even if I will not have watched the actual debate.
If I download the app do I have to watch it on my little phone? Or can I download it to my desktop or maybe my smart TV? Thanks in advance for an answer!
Hey this is Zach from the team at Substack (also a proud subscriber of Chris) chiming in here. Currently, live video is in it's very early stages and is only accessible in the app right now.
One of the things I hope you and Gabe will discuss is how members of the press see their role as members of the electorate. Some don't vote, some do. For those that do, why? For those that don't, why not? Do people in media world know who votes/who doesn't? I'm wondering how they reconcile having a front row to history and choose not to vote. Just as it's hard for me to take someone seriously when they complain about the roads near them but choose not to vote/express their opinion to their City Councilor directly vs on TV, I'm wondering if they take themselves/their colleagues seriously if they make the active choice not to participate in the electoral process (not the passive, 'oops, work was so busy, couldn't make it'; but the active, 'I'm not going to vote even if I have time.')
What is the honest Political leaning of Mr. Gabe Fleisher though. I will want to spend my valuable time with an honest non partisan pundit after the debate.
