Welcome to Marin County, Chris. So glad you enjoyed your visit here. There is no tiring of any of it. It continues to overwhelm. in the best way possible.

I lived in SoCal for 20 years and loved going to SanFran on business...especially being able to go north to Marin and Bodega Bay.

The trees in NoCal were so fantastic...so artistic in their nature design.

Thanks for the visual reminder, Chris.

Chris - Don't you know that every journalist is required by law to go to the Tenderloin and photograph homeless people to prove what a hellscape SF is?

That was exactly what I was expecting when I read the title!

The highlight of our visit to Point Reyes a few years ago was getting (kind of) up close and personal with a group of female elephant seals. There was a gate between us, and we didn’t harass them in any way. But two of them flopped up very close to the gate and proceeded to gaze adoringly at my husband. I already knew that dogs and cats love him, but seeing the seemingly smitten elephant seals took his apparent “animal magnetism” to a whole new level. 😏

Born in San Francisco in the dark primeval past known as before the Hippies. Looks like you hit some high points. The Airstreems on the ridge is really between Freestone and Occidental ... I live on top of the hill south toward Bloomfield. Next time check out Armstrong Grove and watch the news Guernville and the Russian River will probably flood Monday due to incoming Pineapple Express. Oh and you should definitely check out Ft. Ross visited a while back by Mr Putin in his quest to promote the motherland. My favorite place and next time stay at St. Orres a little north on Highway 1. And miss you on CNN and hope you find your footing soon.

But, wait, everyone keeps telling me I live in a hell hole! Politicians can't be wrong, can they?
