Donald Trump has been president for one month. Just 47 months to go!
It’s been, well, a lot. I can’t say I am surprised. That’s who Trump is. It’s what he does.
I just keep repeating this 1990 quote from Trump because it explains everything so perfectly: “The show is Trump. And it’s sold-out performances everywhere.”
What’s on your mind? What do you make of month one? What’s been your biggest shock? Biggest pleasant surprise?

I'm trying this one again:
With Trump's loyalists now likely to take charge of DOJ (Bondi already installed) and FBI (Patel likely to be confirmed out of fear of reprisals against no votes from DJT) who arrests Musk and his hacker crew when they don't keep their hands out of the Treasury? Can FBI agents act without the blessing of the director? I'll echo what others have said as well. How do we break the spell of Trumpism in Congress and help the GOP Congressmen and women grow a spine to stand up to Trump's chaos?
How extremely far off the rails do you think Trump will have to go before Republicans would stand up to him in any meaningful way? Invading Canada or Mexico to add them to U.S. territory? Starting a war with western Europe on the side of Russia? Disbanding Congress like Emperor Palpatine? Or is it just the reality that they'll never stand up to him?
