After the blistering article in The Atlantic by Mark Leibovich, Christie proved once again to be a tough talking coward when it would come to confronting the Sessionist-in-Chief.

Don't see him actually being part of the pack.

It's both astonishing and appalling to me that given everything we know about the Former Guy, and given what we continue to find out, his control over the Republican Party--and the abject terror of his fellow candidates--grows stronger by the day.

I honestly think that he's going to win in November of 2024, horrifying as that is to contemplate.

"It’s very good to be Donald Trump right now."

OK, I admit that I am a long-time Chris Cillizza fan. But this one line, written about a buffoon with multiple very serious criminal charges pending, and one very large civil suit being heard in NYC, is preposterous. Yeah, yeah, it was written about the GOP race for the nomination but, yeah, yeah Trump is still a buffoon with multiple very serious criminal charges pending. Let's get real: it ain't so hot to be DJT right now and, for some of us, it never has been.

I can’t see how Trump doesn’t secure the nomination. DeSantis is a weirdo and will have plenty more weirdo moments on the campaign trail. I don’t see anyone else surging to beat Trump

While the Democrat's nominee is settled, it's very premature to assume that Trump is going to be the Republican's nominee. There's a reason why we have Primaries . Let's wait for the debates and the voting by the Republicans before anointing Trump as the Republican nominee. Remember the Democrat's nomination contest between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in 2008.

Obama was the underdog until the debates and the voting proved everybody wrong. I know the Democrats would be happy to have Trump as the Republican nominee. As one prominent Republican always say, Trump is the only Republican Biden can and would beat in 2024. And this is very true if you believe in polls

Okay, I’m not a fan of Trump, and going back to the 80’s, I never have been. I am appalled and fascinated how people cannot see him for the cruel and evil man that he is. He shows us everyday. How could he be a leading candidate of anything?

We all heard the constant news about "Crooked Hillary" and even though we had no idea why she was crooked, we went with that as a bad thing. She was in the news because she did something wrong. Now it is "Crooked Biden" ( Trump is SOOOO creative in his monikers) and there will be constants news about him as well, BUT HE IS THE PRESIDENT!!" So of course there will be constant news about him. Trump is an idiot.

I think if Sununu never announced, he might get more in write-ins than Pence gets. I have a hard time picturing the Pence voter.

I’m a Democrat but will be a Republican come the end of June mostly so I can vote for Jill Lochner over Elise Stefanik in the Republican primary. I’m keeping the FDR shrine in honor of my mother up, tho.

For all it will matter when the Republican primary hits NY, Nikki Haley has my vote now. Maybe I’ll just write in Jacob Javits.
