This is just disgraceful, all of it, every utterance. Although, I love when you do these, Chris, it is beyond the pale that a former president & perhaps our next president, spews this nonsense. To accuse President Biden of using cocaine, is just brushed under the carpet as if it is nothing. I understand that everything can’t be an outrage as this is just normal, coming from Trump. However, this is not normal and yet his base eats it up. Sigh…
Chris, I have enjoyed your insights and writings for years now. Your articles on "the ____ wackiest/scariest/craziest lines from....." have been some of my favorites.
Although I am a paid subscriber, and it is so worth the cost of your subscription, I really appreciate how you make generally available some of the more concerning observations, to help readers be better informed about the 2024 election stakes. Thank you for what you are doing!!!!!
If only he(Chris) can do the same for the other side( Biden). Just Trump and Trump and Trump every time makes it boring and monotonous. I look forward a day and hopefully 2 when this Newsletter will be Trump free.
If the other side was saying as idiotic, insane things, he most likely would. He did the same with RFK Jr because he was saying crazy things. As soon as Biden starts doing the same (i.e., saying bizarre, unintelligible things), I would surmise Chris would start reporting on that as well.
Chris, never stop doing these articles on the craziest lines from Trump speeches and interviews. These alone are worth the subscription fee. Even after almost 10 years of reading these I still can’t help but wonder how we as a country elected him president and may do so again.
Obviously it's noted in the title, but let it be pointed out again that this interview was conducted with Hugh Hewitt, who for some reason still gets treated as a serious person and has a prominent position at the Washington Post. The columnist who pretends to take national security SO seriously is supporting the candidate who just rambled on about golf and Joe Biden's alleged cocaine habit for the majority of an interview. The conservative movement has dumbed itself down so much.
On the presidential turnover chart you have to parse it a little: The key year to focus on is the FIRST (and the first and second together). You can see how Trump's first year is a big outlier, far more departures than any other president measured. What does that tell you?
That the normies, the sane, figured out very quickly just who and what they were dealing with and blew town (or were fired for standing up to Trump). After that, and by his third and fourth years, Trump got "smart" and started replacing the competent and credentialed with butt-sucking hyper-loyalists (mostly "acting"), most of whom stuck around, bringing down his total (the red bar).
“He’s an idiot. He’s the dumbest president we’ve ever had. He’s the most corrupt, and he’s the most incompetent.”
Actually that’s exactly how I’d describe Trump. Just another example of him projecting. So, not sure I agree that being corrupt automatically means you must be really smart.

As usual, Fatso Fatass is pointing out his own failure.
When MAGAts accuse, they're really confessing.
Every. Single. Time.

I'm glad you've learned your lesson about yachting and golfing!😂

And suggested Joe Biden was on cocaine during the “State of the Union” address.
Ok, to the lines!
This made me giggle.

This chart also shows only "first" replacements -- if the chart also showed subsequent or serial replacements, Trump would be literally off the charts. See the whole clown show here: https://whowhatwhy.org/elections/decision-2024-continuity-or-chaos-or-worse/.
Good point!
No trump????....absolutely divine music to our ears, I say!
What happened to numbers 21-28 (missing from the e-mail I received)?
I'm reading this on Substack. They're missing here as well.
#3. NOPE you aren't wrong
#14. LOL
I would like a couple hundred retired psychiatrists and lawyers to write an opinion of trumps mind and post it in the NYTimes.
I was enjoying the read but then realized I was missing nos.21-28. Oops!
Can we get them back?
Hewie Blewitt has turned into a first class Dotard fluffer...

It is 10:58 p.m. and I'm still laughing! Thank you for the GIFs!
