You should read John Ganz's nuanced analysis of the German election as well as John Auther's discussion in Bloomberg. It is not at all what Trump describes and shows his complete ignorance of European-style parliamentary elections.

Those of us not living in the States are all looking to find dependable alliances elsewhere and are all deeply mistrustful of Trump, et. al. In Canada, Musk has slammed our current federal government and endorsed the Conservative leader of the opposition and we haven't even elected Justin Trudeau's replacement as Liberal leader, let alone called an actual election.
