Here's the description that would probably bother the Tangerine Tornado the most: It was BORING.

When you are gone mentally as much as Traitor Trump is, repeating the same crap every time it is boring!!!

Thanks so much for the breakdown. I tried to get it up and eventually only got audio but couldn't take more then a few minutes of him well talking about him. But I immediately caught on to his new lisp I was hearing. I'd like to point out if Biden had done the 160+ liefest press conference and less than a week later this same interview every MSM media outlet would be calling for Biden to drop out and Art.25 to be put in place. Don't believe me I've got a bad debate on repeat to show you. Disgusting how not one outlet has stated facts TFG is old and has boarded the mentality unfit struggle bus on a one way ride

As aleays, thank you for doing what i won't do - isten to Trump.

I think something that really wasn't noted in the first debate: both TRUMP and BIDEN neither one was actually debating or answering their opponent's attacks or issues. TRUMP was replaying his normal rally sound bites and BIDEN was trying to replay all the facts and figures he had been drilling into his memory ( much like a schoolboy for an exam).

It was just so shocking to see (and hear) BIDEN'S delivery and appearance that TRUMP'S own delivery was highly overlooked. TRUMP in the debate and any so-called interviews really hasn't actually addressed the interviewers questions or comments. He is just like an old jukebox, looking for a "soundbite" or script that will somehow fit the question.

The democrats.need to hammer is this the man you want making split second decisions, or is VANCE a good presidential replacement? The thought of either of these scare the hell out of me!

And the mainstream media NEVER bothered to mention that Trump told 602 lies in his 40 minutes of debate time, ie a lie every 3.9 seconds! It took a writer on Substack to tally that (sorry, I can’t remember who, maybe Scott Dworkin?).

Whatever happened to their legendary “both sides” coverage?!?

Thanks for summarizing the interview for us, because there is NO WAY most of us could listen to that Donald Drivel for two hours!

Looking good early this morning!

And thank you (I guess) for listening. I just can’t, or maybe won’t precisely because as you said, this is just a worst hits album!

thanks Chris for subjecting yourself to two hours of him - as my wife just remarked "why would i waste 2 hours of my time listening to his SOS"

I tried to watch but the technology problems kept me from committing. Ha! I am not surprised he didn't do anything new. But really, he has got to remember who he is running against.

But, I would listen to the Eagles play Hotel California every day. Just sayin'

I did not listen to this "interview" at all, but I did hear a few "highlights" on the news. And I agree that Trump sounded strange; he sounded older than he normally sounds. I also think it might have been the mike connection, but he did sound weirder than he usually sounds.

Waiting patiently for a Best Lines post. Hope it will be there. (although may be too much of the same)

I'd like a minimum of FIVE "Sir Alerts"!!!!

I take a backseat to no one re despising Trump, but the lisp thing had to be technical. He sounded like Sylvester the Cat, not his normal self. The substance of his numerous diatribes was also cartoonish so maybe there is a connection there.

“They mostly just talked past each other.” Like two little kids parallel playing in the sandbox.

It was immediately noticeable to me that Trump's voice was "slushie" and a bit "slurry"....something that happens to people sometimes when we get older. HIs speech pattern may be changing. Something to monitor for sure. (Your analysis is so "listenable". You make politics fun.)

As a retired audio professional, I can say that unless the audio staff was on drugs, a glitch of that kind should never happen.. Each person would have had both their own microphone of choice *and* their own separate processing chain (mic preamplifier, compressor/limiter, de-esser, etc.), so each can be better controlled separately.

Could have been a bad setting in the processing chain, but as an audio pro, I would have had a back-up mic on another channel (maybe a lavalier mic on his lapel), and would have switched to it or at the least mixed them together for better result. If they didn’t have such basic live coverage issues accommodated, they were being incredibly shoddy.

Musk fired SO many of his technical staff, make this, and the lengthy delay, more likely.

(PS: I listened to a few clips that Jeff Tiedrich posted, highlighting this “issue”, and I’m thinking that this was NOT a technical glitch, but more likely something going on with Trump physically. I only listened to 2 extended clips, so I can’t confirm this beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I’ve had to deal with enough technical issues in real-time and can’t recall *ever* hearing an issue quite like this one…)

It’s NO WAY like an Eagles concert. That I would thoroughly enjoy. While I didn’t listen to the “interview” from those that did it was quite painful.

So, now you've piqued my interest in what his voice sounded like and I'm going to have to listen to it briefly. Ugghhh. Lol

Haha, me too.
