It astounds me that this even needs to be a message. Trump is unfit for office, period.

Decency matters. Hopefully enough voters will see that.

agree, but I think the ad does not do anything to show that Biden is decent. Only that Trump isn't. Missed opportunity.

I think that Trump was (as is rarely the case) telling the truth when he reportedly said that he could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue in NYC and not lose a single voter.

But a true MAGA believer will tell you really he meant with a camera. 😂 (gotta love "spin")

This is a great political ad, and I would add (ha) that this is the lowest Biden should go, including the debates. He needs to avoid appearing angry at Trump, but instead let Trump reveal his anger and then act as a commentator on emotion.

He shouldn't appear personally angry at Trump, *but* it would be politically savvy to channel that anger on behalf of the American people. For example, "This guy thinks it's all about him! He has the nerve to say he's being prosecuted on your behalf! What?! I'm the one working for you and your family every single day. This joker literally doesn't care about you. He said so! He cares only about staying out of prison. It's the case for his entire campaign. Give me a break!"

Glad to see the Biden campaign aggressively doing something/anything. While the "Bidenomics" message was accurate, it was preaching to the already-converted and was not impacting the low-information voters that get their "facts" from Fox "News" and other sources.

Personally I'd love it if they focused on the "LOSER" message, since that has the best chance at getting under the Orange Dictator's skin, but this messaging also works for me.

Let's just hope it starts to move the needle, and fingers-crossed for an epic meltdown by Trumpty-Dumpty during the upcoming debate.

50 million dollar ad buy not gonna fix the enormous problems with the Biden/Harris ticket. It’s like putting lipstick on pig…..

I think this ad misses the mark. First part was about Trump character and works well. Then it veered into policy, which, meh... Kinda depends on what policies you support, right? So he could win over someone in the first part, and then immediately turn them off (example: a free market supporter will not be attracted to going after big business). Had he stuck to character in the second half, talking about why Biden is trustworthy for example, It would have made for a fine ad. As it is, I could see viewers turned off by both candidates.

Lowering healthcare costs sounds great. I think we can all get behind that idea!

Making corporations pay their fair share... what the heck does this even mean? Their fair share of the healthcare costs? Their fair share of taxes? Their fair share of renovation costs for a new stadium? Fair share of WHAT? Spent a lot of money on this, and that got through editors? Gosh I hate politics (and also obviously can't look away).

The timing of this is interesting. Only a few weeks before the debates where Pres. Biden is going to get crushed by former Pres. Trump. I already know, behind closed doors Pres. Biden is breaking down the theory of relativity while juggling 8 bowling pins (I’ve seen the same Morning Joe clips). I think this is the only avenue he has to sway the .0001% of the voters who are undecided.

Do you think this is the right approach for the Biden campaign? You’ve mentioned Biden should differentiate himself by laying what the next four years will be like depending on who wins.
