Put simply: The chances of a single digit handicap shooting — at age 77 — five strokes under par are roughly the same (or maybe better...) as the chances that Trump actually won the 2020 election. Basically, zilch.
Wow, Trump's entire life is lived in a different reality where he is the strongest, most handsome, richest and most powerful man in the world. And the best golfer. It's just sad and pathetic.
It baffles my mind as to how he has a chance to be in the Oval Office, yet again. He lies and cheats in his golf game to be the best, it’s just sad and pathetic
Golfers often claim that you can tell a lot about a person's ethics by how he acts on the course. Trump validates that view vividly. I have heard several stories re how he cheats from people who have played with him. And his claims of "victory" on the course are of a piece with his claims re elections or political achievements. He lives in a fantasy world. Objective truth is irrelevant. He will say whatever feeds his narrative and frail ego. In short, his malignant narcissism and pathological prevarication are always on display. The disturbing fact is that , despite displaying these disqualifying traits for years, Trump could win again
Trump shot a 67 and won the over 50 group, the same way he’s 215 pounds, is so healthy he’ll live to 150, his calls were perfect, and his inauguration had the biggest attendance in US history.
Hey everyone, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn!...:)
Everyone who plays with him says he cheats. They just give up and take the free round of golf. A guy who writes for Golf magazine wrote a piece about how a guy who cheats at golf cannot be trusted at anything. He cheats openly and dares people to call him on it - sound familiar?
Aren't golf aficionados supposed to be all about being sticklers in regard to the rules? You would think that other golfers would make a fuss. Another myth destroyed, I guess.
I agree. I was a caddy and played as a teen until an a accident. I loved the feel of being on the course and how serious the foresomes were in the 1960s.
These guys didn't drink or smoke during the round. Took seriously a ball's lie, and asked for advice on how to properly follow the rules.
Rick Reilly's book name "Commander in Cheat" says it all.
The sociopath does live in a separate reality where playing/working within the rules is for suckers.
There is no real way of knowing whether you're improving if you don't follow the rules. At least once you make it past the "bogey golfer" stage and your handicap goes below 18. Unless I were playing someone for money I would never call out cheating in a casual round.
As I always say, I hope there's a coffin manufacturer who does spiral coffins; because when Trump dies, he's so darned crooked, they'll have screw his coffin into the ground.
Slight rewrite suggestion:

You can tell Biden is renting a free space in his Brain.

Todd -- there is no doubt Trump can win again. I think it's something close to a coin flip right now.
If he’s that good, why doesn’t he play in LIV events and win all the time and make lots of money!
Ha! So true!

================================
Charlie Sykes in today's Bulwark pulls info from a Princeton professor (emeritus), Harry Frankfurt,s book: "On Bullshit"
Main Similarities between lying and bullshit:
1) Both liars and bullshitters (bsers) want you to believe that they are telling the truth.
2) And both want to get away with something.
Major Differences
1) Liars engage in a conscious act of deception.
2) Liars know the truth, but attempt to hide it.
3) Liars spread untruths, but they still accept the distinction between the truth and false.
1) Bsers don’t consciously deceive.
2) Bsers just don’t know or care about the truth.
3) Bsers ignore or reject the distinction between truth and falsity altogether.
Per the Defendant-In-Chief, Liar or BSer?
I'll let you make the choice by comparison:
Enjoy!

So petty and pathetic. Your article explains a lot about his personality.
Thanks, Anne. I DO think sports provide useful insight into who he is -- and why.
Aren't golf aficionados supposed to be all about being sticklers in regard to the rules? You would think that other golfers would make a fuss. Another myth destroyed, I guess.

Great article! Having read your book, I was certain you would address Trump’s claims! 😊😊😊
Thanks, Terri!

One more thing about which he lies constantly.
“TRUMPWORLD”
Does this man tell the truth about anything? He is delusional!
