It will be interesting to see how accurate the polls are in tomorrow’s primary. And while Donald J Trump may be winning the primary, his salad speech, Hitler parody, and red-bottomed sneakers may prove to be his undoing in the general election.
His other undoings in November include his refusal to accept the results of a legitimate election that he lost, his Inciting an insurrection and on and on and on.
Trump's margin is only about 20%. Abysmal margin if you consider the fact that Trump is an Incubent(albeit a quasi one) at least in the eyes of his toxic cult members and a far cry from what the phony polls say the margin will be(some 30 points). Beware of the accuracy of these polls people!
The IVF issue is a huge lifeline for Biden and the Dems. If they come up with a solid strategy, and hammer the Republicans as extremists who are coming for birth control next, it could turn into one of the defining narratives of the 2024 election.
I spent last weekend in Iowa, made it through four counties, so no full Grassley for me. It's crazy they get to play such an outsized role in picking the leader of the free world.
You missed an important point about IVF. The Republicans still believe that IVF created a human and if it is not used or accidentally dropped manslaughter has occurred. The hospitals in Alabama stopped IVF because of the risk of being guilty of manslaughter if something happened to the fertilized eggs.
Chris, we’re counting on you to add meaningful nuance to the GOP propaganda.
We can get their BS propaganda directly from their horses mouth. (Hmmm, is BS from a horses mouth a mixed metaphor?)
DK Brooklyn, please don't hold your breath on that. For example, he didn't mention the Biden's criticism of that I F ruling but linked his subscribers to Trump's False Social.
Sen. Biden, former VP Biden, and now Pres. Biden had ample opportunities to codify Roe v. Wade into law. Not to mention that his administration was pre-warned the Supreme Court was going to overturn it. He failed to do so. Why? Because it’s a lightening rod topic that motivates base democrats. Also,
let’s lose sight of the real reason it was overturned. The Notorious RBG let
her own ego and the ridiculous belief that Sec. Clinton would actually become President and refused to step down. To be fair though, Republicans do the exact same thing with the border.
I disagree . There was no point in time when Roe was at risk& Ds had enough votes to codify it.During Biden's term ,Ds Sen margin has been razor thin &Rs have the majority in the House. I agree RBG should have stepped down, but McConnell acted outrageously in denying Garland a vote w/ 9 months to go in Obama's term&then turning around &putting Coney Barrett to a vote in the last days of Trump's term. Hell, voting had already started in the POTUS race when the Senate approved her. There is no comparison to the Rs' conduct re the border. They had a deal&then rejected it b/c Trump wanted a campaign issue.
Oh, I’m speaking on his entire time in elected office, not simply his presidency. It’s the same thing with the border. You are picking one moment in time. I am referring to many opportunities over various administrations that Republicans have had an opportunity to change border policy but have failed to do so all for a political “win.”
Your putative point re Roe doesn't square w/ the facts. Roe was decided in 1973. It wasn't a narrow vote. It was 7-2 . Blackmun, an R appointee. wrote the opinion&other R appointees joined. It was viewed as a matter of Constitutional right, not an R v D issue. Roe was re-affirmed several times. Congress doesn't make a habit of randomly codifying Constitutional rights. That didn't happen w/, eg, Miranda, Gideon ,or Brown. Roe became at risk only after the rise of the so-called Christian right . At no time when Roe was at risk & Biden was in office did the Ds have the votes to codify it.
the House and the Senate. One could absolutely make the argument that Pres. Biden was only the VP, but to say democrats writ large had no opportunity is, in my humble opinion, incorrect.
That’s not all(or whom) DJT killed; after his claim for Russia to “Do water the hell you like” , Mr. Navalny was murdered. Coincidence?

It appears that Trump has the most amazing , personal army of dung beetles.

You failed to mention Biden's age. Dr. Ibrahim will be disappointed...

Though I was very excited to visit Pizza Ranch.

Former President Obama made it his “first
priority” and the democrats controlled
the House and the Senate. One could absolutely make the argument that Pres. Biden was only the VP, but to say democrats writ large had no opportunity is, in my humble opinion, incorrect.
