All good thoughts, but I quibble with your view that it’s tough to see Harris losing a Blue Wall state but winning NC or GA. There is not a one to one correlation. I lived in both states and know the Rs there. Many are “Normies” not MAGA. Are they really coming out to vote for Trump and the obscene Mark Robinson or will they sit this one out? In GA, Trump’s antics led to 2 Ds Sens being elected last time. Many Rs there resent his assaults on Kemp and Rafensberger. Without any Sen or Gov race on the ballot, will that depress GA turnout by Rs? These are factors particular to those states and unrelated to the Blue Wall states.
San Francisco liberal trying to win in the Midwest?!? Not gonna happen. I don’t believe knucklehead helps her one bit. MN will be blue with or without him. VP made an unbelievable mistake not taking Shapiro putting PA in her pocket. It’s really amazing to think about. It’s politics 101!
Harris picked the person she felt would make a good VP, and not who can win a state. And Shapiro would lose MI so she would lose the election anyway. With Walz she will win all 3 Blue Wall states, thus the election.
In NC, the difficulty in voting that may result from the storm aftermath should help Dems. It is hard to imagine Republicans, especially squishy ones, going the extra mile to vote for Mark Robinson and/or Trump.
Political campaigns DO go on way too long. Politicians are gonna do politics in season and out, but it would be great to see their publicly visible periods drastically shortened. I have ideas on how to do that, not original with me.
It was shameful for Porter to hurl Trump type charges after the primary. She can be effective in Congress, but I don’t know that she has an executive temperament
"Now winning Arizona, North Carolina or Georgia isn’t enough for Harris. She would need to win two of those states or one of them plus Nevada." I think she would only need NC and Nevada, correct? 22 plus 251?
Chris, thank you for cheering up my day! Your message is probably the best reason we need to get rid of, or at least reform, the Electoral College method. It's crazy that 3 states should get all the attention by the candidates rather than 50 (plus DC). And BTW, don't forget about Nebraska's splitting their votes, and look what all the attention that ONE vote got recently!
Also thanks for the Cruz news, that cheered me up as well.
My husband is a crazy Cure fan. We saw them this summer and I was really surprised how much I loved the new songs. This one is very good, albeit intense and emotional. But there are a couple more from the concert that I’m salivating for the release! Thanks for the share.
HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR FORMER PRESIDENT, JIMMY CARTER(Albeit belated)
I hope and pray that you live long enough to fulfill your wish of being able to vote for the first female President of America( Kamala Harris)
I hope he gets to see the Braves win one more World Series
Amen! Jimmy Carter is an honorable man and an authentic Christian.

Chris, could Mark Robinson’s lunacy actually put North Carolina into play for the Democrats?

Your analysis leaves out an important fact:
North Carolina will not be able to vote or certify its vote because of the devastation.
Trump’s lawyers are salivating. What’s your take?
As a GenX goth girl the news of a new Cure album made my whole year. 🙂 And yes that is a very long intro!

Katie Porter is terrible. She is just as bad as the Republicans who complain about rigged elections. She is awful to her staff.

Sorry, I thought you meant both of them plus Nevada.....

Robert Smith still has it ! I really enjoyed tonight’s Chris Crucial 👍
My bet is that Harris will win the sunbelt states and everyone will be amazed. But those are the easiest for her in my opinion. We will see.
