Who plays RFK Jr. in the SNL bear cub skit?

Hoping Cori Bush loses. I may not always agree with AOC but she's smart, savvy and nuanced. She's an asset. That can't be said about other members of the "Squad," including my horrible rep, Ayanna Presley, who pretends she cares about civilian casualties but voted AGAINST funding Iron Dome.

Iā€™m not sure we can say RFK Jr. is in a major fade if he was never in a major brightness.

Fetterman likes to make waves but those waves only rock the boat a bit. He does not wield much influence. (He is merely a first term senator, after all) There is NO WAY that KH will bow to his will. Shapiro is the man. He is such an obvious pick that only Don jr could fail to see it.

Harris doesnā€™t have to worry about placating to the ultra left wing of her party - she realizes (smartly so) that the country is more moderate and picking Shapiro helps her immensely win over independents/moderates (like myself)ā€¦ the ultra left wing will hem and haw at the pick for a little bit, but wonā€™t stay home on Election Day

I have to comment on something non-political. I was a 15 yr old Beatlemaniac in 1966. Revolver was so different from anything Iā€™d heard before. My fav is Eleanor Rigby. Such a view into loneliness.

I wasn't born in 1966, but my favourite is also Eleanor Rigby.

My favorite song on Revolver is ā€œTaxman.ā€ Love Georgeā€™s biting social commentary.

Nice 'shout out' Chris. Revolver (Rubber Soul a close second) is my favorite Beatles album....

As a Jewish PA resident, I do worry about his position on Gaza and his vocal support of Israel. The nuance that he has been critical of Netanyahu may be lost. He does have a high approval rating, but a Democrat winning here is entirely dependent on getting enough votes in Philly, Pittsburgh and Allentown to offset the rural areas. I hope he can do that.

Chris, I hope you are right about Shapiro. If Mayor Pete can't get the nod I hope Shapiro comes through. I don't think that enough Democrats understand the voting power and enthusiasm that the younger voters can bring. But, they have felt ignored and not appreciated since the Obama years. It is definitely time to "pass the baton" to the younger generations (and this is from an old fart boomer)

I still think Walz has that ā€œMinnesota niceā€ thing going for him, and he DID coin the term the entire Democratic team is running with, ie that Trump-Vance are ā€œweirdā€.

He knows how to frame things in ways that are very easily understood.

That said, Iā€™ll still be happy if she picks Shapiro, though I am a *little* concerned with the pro-Palestinian youth vote that pick might turn off. Iā€™m not so sure how right Chris is when he says a Harris-Shapiro ticket wonā€™t cause these young voters to stay home or vote third-partyā€¦

I'm hoping for Walz...you are right, he's got that "Minnesota nice" demeanor to him...the All-American guy.

Agree, Chris!!

I've always loved the psychedelic experimentation of "Tomorrow Never Knows" but over the years, the sweetness of "Here There and Everywhere" has really grown on me.

So we'll all find out tomorrow...but as I see it, Shapiro can campaign effectively for KH as governor of Pennsylvania, rather than VP candidate. I was hoping for Tim Walz. But having said that, Kamala will make her announcement at a rally tomorrow, held at Temple University in Philadelphia...and last time I checked, Philadelphia is in, ahem, Pennsylvania...so Chris, you may be right.

Spot on re Shapiro, I hope KH got the memo.

Tomorrow Never Knows is the very best Beatles song.
