"...seen through that lens, one day isn’t such a big price to keep the boss happy."

Chris, you do realize what you're describing is a scenario familiar to most parents: plying a whiny toddler with a treat or small toy so that you can finish your grocery shopping without a total meltdown in the middle of the store. Sad.

Has anyone noticed that Koonce in Missouri is only behind Hawley by four points? Koonce is a veteran and a fairly strong candidate compared to a relatively weak Hawley ( running down the hall on Jan 6)

The thing that strikes me so odd about the Teamsters not endorsing falls into the same category as any of the reasons the country's beleaguered interest groups that are either supporting Trump or still on the fence. They may have some real or perceived beef with Harris. Do they really think that Trump is going to doing in their interest? This is particularly true of the union. He'll gut the NLRB if he can and do everything he can to ensure that America's big companies don't have to deal with those pesky union people anymore if he's elected. Color me baffled.

Not everything is about money. This is about the culture war. The two tribes have completely different visions about what the future of America should be.

Trump should go to California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts and Vermont next. "You can win them Big Guy! And you don't need to go to the swing states. They're in the bag for you!"

Ha ha, horrible pictures of the moon! I take many pictures of the moon over the lake and it is never any good because it never looks big enough. If I take 20 pictures, one might be OK (not big enough). It’s nice to think about the moon for a minute instead of the world at large.

Nassau Coliseum might be the future home of a Miriam Adelson casino. Purchase is through the Vegas Sand, which she owns. Always follow the money. He isn't doing this for Long Island folks.

How do we know not to take Trump or his campaign folks seriously about New York State being in play? Just follow the money, or the lack thereof. If New York and its many Electoral College votes were even a remote possibility, Trump and his crew would be spending serious money in the state's various media markets. Instead, the charts published in the September 13 edition of CHRIS CRUCIAL show that NYS is absent from the top tier of states for presidential ad spending . In short,

Trump is not putting his money where his mouth is.

The fund raiser will get a lot of rich MAGAts from Suffolk county, where I escaped from a little over 40 years ago and swore never to return.

Chris, you hit on the two reasons Donny does anything. Ego and money. I am really surprised by the teamsters neutrality. Seems there is more to that story. I wonder how much was shelled out into Donny’s pockets to make up that pic. Such a foolish misuse of funds.

Think of the teamsters as mostly white working class folks and you won't be surprised.

Even when you acknowledge the demographic of the union, it’s still a *bit* surprising. Trump absolutely will NOT do ANYTHING for the Union, and let’s not forget him chuckling with Elon Musk, talking about being able to fire workers when they strike.

Of course, working class people voting against their own personal best interests is not “news” per se, but it’s still mind boggling nonetheless….

For everyone who is going to opine about how Pres. Biden “stood on the picket line” they would do themselves a great service to ask the railroad workers how their strike ended. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t pro-Union.

Actually it was. Eventually the union got what they wanted with Biden working behind the scenes and keeping his promise. Look it up.
