His cult members may not care if he said /posted those nonsense. But guess who cares and really matters? The Independents who will decide this election and who voted him out of office in 2020.

IF they’re paying attention yet, Dr., and that’s a good question!

I agree: no Cult Members minds are going to be changed (that’s why they’re cult members and not just people with a “different viewpoint”), but independents and disaffected Republicans in 6 or 7 swing states are the key to who wins or loses in November (which is highly disappointing to a Californian like me, given that we’re the 5th largest economy in the world and comprise 40M citizens, but are virtually insignificant in the Electoral College scheme…).

Again, how many citizens who are *not* politics junkies like those of us that follow Chris are paying attention yet? Frustrating but likely they’re unaware. Sigh….

Amen, and this is the point I make with people I talk to, they are both old. One looks forward and the other looks backward with grudges to hold. I don't want a country that holds grudges. That is when wars happen.

Knowing millions of people will vote for him or make constant excuses for him via our GOP leadership makes me angry. He brought those 91 charges unto himself through his own greed and narcissism. Idolatry of this contemporary golden calf will not end well.

Very well said, Chris, thanks! Now only to amplify this message and get it out to the undecideds, the "double haters", etc, who could still be moved to vote against Trump. He is really a sick and evil individual. And I think much more dangerous than during the first term. First, because, as you have said, he has had the learning curve of the first term and will be much more careful about ensuring acolytes at all critical positions. Second, because I think he is somewhat like a wounded animal. During the first term, it felt just like another one of his grifts that he was going to get away with unscathed. But now the system has been pushing back against him, for the first time in his life, and he is behaving like a cornered sociopath. Very dangerous

I've been saying that Trump is about to discover that being a criminal defendant on trial is very different from a civil lawsuit. He's not going to like it.

Agreed! He is very dangerous.

The most important things to remember about Trump is that he promises a bloodbath if he loses and retribution if he wins. TRUMP=VIOLENCE IN AMERICA and once in power authoritarians have purges and disappearances including of their followers that they are paranoid about.

Oh, and they immediately go after the judiciary.

“What the actual hell” was the proper response to that Chris. It needs to be re posted into bigger venues.

Isn’t there a weird irony here? For a guy who lies constantly (30,000+ in his term, plus numerous in that stream-of-consciousness sentence), his statement of intent about his next term is (as Chris often says) very believable and seemingly accurate. Kind of like that thing about taking him LITERALLY vs SERIOUSLY.

I worry not just for the USA, but for the world, if he is unleashed in Nov.

I'm almost afraid to find out, but does anybody have a clue how Trump is trying to disparage Fani Willis by calling her "Fauni"? Is he trying to compare her to a young deer?

I’m still trying to figure out what DSanctus was. An abbreviation for DeSanctimonious?

It's probably best to not try to figure out what is going on in that so-called brain of his.

Dan, you will find that its very entertaining to speculate what t-Rump is thinking.

The same people who whine about "safe spaces" and "content warnings" are the same people who are so triggered by a transgender person.

Thank you for continuing to let us and anyone who cares to PAY ATTENTION, know and see what is being done and said! And the background to it all, very interesting re the fact that the Trans Day of Visibility is always March 31, and the fact that the ban on religious themed eggs for the Roll has been in place for 45 years!! I would hope even those who say their mind can’t be changed… would see and notice the distinct and frightening difference between the two Easter messages.

A lot of MAGA pols piled on with these lies about Biden supposedly "attacking" Easter, including Speaker Mike Johnson. It's unlikely any of them will apologize.

IMO, the MSM needs to cover Trump’s words using Chris’ headline with a little Trumpian embellishment: “Donald Trump’s INSANE Easter rant.” I know this is mostly wishful thinking, but maybe, just maybe, some voters who otherwise wouldn’t see it would become so disgusted that they would abandon Trump for good.

This is disgraceful on so many levels and yet, just no words can even come close to conveying just how bad this is. Unfortunately, his base eats it up which floors me that people can think this is how a president should behave.

The MAGA cult members believe their dear leader can do no wrong.😩

Chris' recaps always make me think about whether Trump makes a conscious decision with Caps lock before every post. Like he is thinking this is the one I want to emphasize ..... As Chris aptly has noted, he must think every bit of his drivel is important.

The last time I checked, Biden is the sitting President and so I honestly don't think we should see Trump this morning with that picture. HE IS NOT THE PRESIDENT AND WILL NOT BE AGAIN.

Yes, but I think the expression on the bunny’s face speaks for all of us.

May be Kevin, but what I don't understand though is that he discussed Biden's decent and unifying Easter Message but showed the former President's ($Trump)Picture with the seal as if he is the sitting President. And the obnoxious Trump's Message should have been a footnote to the sitting President's heart warming Message

To this day I have zero clue how anyone in their right mind can support this lunatic. It just goes on and on. It would be funny if it weren't so worrisome.

They simply *aren’t* in their “right mind”, is clearly the only takeaway that makes sense, Maryanne. I have friends on Facebook who have many Trumper friends and they’re clearly living in an upside down world! They think Biden can’t make it through a sentence, when it’s clear the horrible cognitive decline with Trump. They think Biden has a “crime family” when it’s clear that Trump has been conning marks his entire adult life, and much of it has been in the open (like Kushner’s $2B from the Saudis, when even MBS’ own sovereign wealth advisors said he doesn’t have the experience to manage that much).

I’m absolutely flabbergasted every time they say something.
