Not that my recommendation means a ton but to anyone who is on the fence I firmly believe this is the best subscription for someone interested and unbiased (as much as possible) analysis of the political landscape.
I do nothing but rave about you to my friends in Canada, the US, and elsewhere. I too can't bear to watch, but the live chat will get me through. I'm actually looking forward to it. 💜
I cannot bear to watch. The mics being shut- off might be to Trump's advantage. If he appears serious and sane because he can't just rant , it's to his advantage. His advisors know being unhinged is harmful. Let's hope he can't restrain himself.Biden can serve his and the Country's interests by being firm and steady. It's amazing that it's even close - much less that there's a Trump lead- given Biden's record of achievements and Trump's record of failures, broken promises, and insanity/criminality
My worry is that it is relatively easy to derail a speaker with constant chatter and heckling. With the orange mic disabled, the live audience won’t hear the nonsense, but Biden will sound uneven. CNN needs to implement a shock collar.

While the microphones will be off for the non-respondent, how will the moderators stop Trump from his junkyard-dog rabies routine to distract Biden from responding? Without a CNN solution for this probability, Trump had no need to prepare for a debate.
Any tips about how to watch the actual debate while also participating in your live chat? I’m planning to do yours and the bulwark one at the same time and I’m afraid I may not have the tech chops to figure out how to watch the actual debate itself.
I wonder, will we have a "Sir, alert!" tonight????
CNN may possibly have a real-time counter in the corner of the screen.
